Daddy's Little Princess

Love these guys!

Colton loves to have Devin wrap Brekyn's swaddle blankets around his head.

He is quite the little shoe thief. (Sorry Uncle Devon!)
I promise I give all those cheeks hundreds of kisses each day. I always think how much I am going to miss those cheeks when they are all grown up and don't let me smother them.

Girls' Night!

Happy Birthday Becky!

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?

I guess I'm obligated to share the cookies when he helped me bake them. We can't get him to say a lot of things, but somehow he nailed the word "cookie".

Thanks Grandpa!

Thanks for my cute shirt Grandpa! I miss you! Come home from Korea soon!

Labor Day

Colton with his cousins.
Brekyn with my cousins' daughters.
On Labor Day we started out with the Dicksons for some barbecue and pool time. Then for Colton's nap time we hung out at the Glassman's with my mom's side of the family.

Sunday Best

He must be as sad as I am to see the curls gone.

These pics are from the first Sunday in September.

Disneyland Date Night

Our Disneyland passes expire soon and we realized we hadn't been there without kids in tow. We decided we should get a babysitter and go on the big kid rides! We started with dinner at Naples in Downtown Disney.

A few random pics

He's so proper...eating his sandwich with a fork! He was saying "Mmmm" as I took the picture.

I think I have officially caught up my blogging up until the end of August! Now I just have a couple months left to catch up on!

Newport Beach

Ready to go to the beach!

This picture makes me laugh.

Our 5 Year Anniversary- Date Night

I have to say that this was one of the best days of my life. We started the day by having fun with the kids at Balboa Island and ended it with a date night all to ourselves. We went surfing in Laguna Beach...which we never get to do together because one of us usually has to stay with the kids. The weather was great and the water wasn't too cold. Then we went to dinner...Devin made reservations at 5 or 6 different upscale places and said I could choose where we ate. I opted to stay in my sweats and go somewhere more comfy. Why get all done up after surfing?! So we ate at Johnny Rockets instead. (my favorite more casual place) After dinner we exchanged gifts. Then we drove to another nearby beach where Devin surprised me by laying out a blanket and we watched a movie on our portable dvd player.

5 Years and 2 kids later...
I feel lucky.
I feel blessed.
I feel grateful.
For Devin.

Our 5 Year Anniversary- Day

For our 5 year wedding anniversary Devin took the day off from work and we went to Balboa Island. We swam at the beach, got some pizza, and then topped off with doughnuts and Balboa bars.
