Mother's Day 2013

Where to start?!

My kids.
Words really can't express my love for Colton and Brekyn.  They remind me daily to give thanks and to be grateful.  They are a blessing and they make me so so happy.  They are both such fun kids and we do so many fun things together.  Seeing them happy is my greatest joy and I don't know how I will ever survive when they're older and face big kid problems.  I can handle my biggest worries being potty training and manners.  I can handle getting them outdoors and keeping them active.  I never want to see them endure any emotional/physical pain.  I wish I could put them in a bubble.  My sweet and innocent kids are all mine.  All I can do is my best.  Please just stay little forever my babies!

May 1st-16th

Grandma Laurel brought us a housewarming coloring cake!

Father/son driving range date

Beach cruise at the pier

Hanging on Grandma Laurel's new driveway.

Shira/Sharla date for mom's birthday!

Cousin love walking into the park.

Drum roll please...

Devin got his first (and hopefully not last)
HOLE IN ONE!!!

This is a big deal people!
Apparently, the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one at approximately 12,500 to 1, and the odds of a tour professional at 2,500 to 1.

He got his hole in 1 at Strawberry Farms golf course in Irvine.  They said they will put a plaque with his name on it, which we haven't yet verified.

Colton's first (and hopefully last) time getting stitches! May 1st

How it happened:
I took Colton & Brekyn shopping with me at DSW.  Colton was running back and forth down the aisle and tripped and hit under his right eyebrow.

It didn't bleed that much so I wasn't sure if it needed stitches.  So, I text a pic of the injury to Devin and he said he would definitely need them.  Urgent care sent us to Choc Hospital in Orange and they were amazing.  Devin and I were so stressed that this hospital visit would be traumatizing for Colton.  This is coming from his experience with the Dentist where he screamed and cried the whole visit.  By some miracle, Colton didn't cry once!  He was so brave!  He got 10 stitches in all and had to be strapped down with his head held in place and he was calm through the whole thing!
