A few random pics

He's so proper...eating his sandwich with a fork! He was saying "Mmmm" as I took the picture.

I think I have officially caught up my blogging up until the end of August! Now I just have a couple months left to catch up on!

Newport Beach

Ready to go to the beach!

This picture makes me laugh.

Our 5 Year Anniversary- Date Night

I have to say that this was one of the best days of my life. We started the day by having fun with the kids at Balboa Island and ended it with a date night all to ourselves. We went surfing in Laguna Beach...which we never get to do together because one of us usually has to stay with the kids. The weather was great and the water wasn't too cold. Then we went to dinner...Devin made reservations at 5 or 6 different upscale places and said I could choose where we ate. I opted to stay in my sweats and go somewhere more comfy. Why get all done up after surfing?! So we ate at Johnny Rockets instead. (my favorite more casual place) After dinner we exchanged gifts. Then we drove to another nearby beach where Devin surprised me by laying out a blanket and we watched a movie on our portable dvd player.

5 Years and 2 kids later...
I feel lucky.
I feel blessed.
I feel grateful.
For Devin.

Our 5 Year Anniversary- Day

For our 5 year wedding anniversary Devin took the day off from work and we went to Balboa Island. We swam at the beach, got some pizza, and then topped off with doughnuts and Balboa bars.

The petting zoo, again!

Love my little guy! I have never laughed harder than watching him play here!

Bury his feet in the sand

How do you get your 2 year old to hold still for a picture?

The Petting Zoo

It was a day full of...
HANGING
CLAPPING
RUNNING
SMILING
and DRIVING.
What more could a 2 year old ask for?

Purr-fect

Brekyn around mid-August (about 3.5 months old)

Sprint Triathlon

the finish
brekyn and i cheering on our favorite guy!

This was Devin's second sprint triathlon at Camp Pendleton. He is quite the amazing swimmer and after running a marathon the run was a cake walk! He did a great job and I may have gotten a little emotional at the finish. Love. This. Guy.

The Circus

To be honest, I think Colton's favorite part about the circus was the popcorn...or maybe the licorice.
