Thanksgiving!

We went to Devin's parents house for Thanksgiving this year. Dinner was delicious and I ate myself into a coma. Colton enjoyed playing with his cute cousin Kyla. Later that night we went over to the Glassman Thanksgiving dinner with my Dad's side of the family. We had a great time spending the holiday with our loved ones.

We Moved!

Devon and I had a chocolate frosting fight...he got a ton in my hair!

Colton has so much fun with his Auntie and Uncle!

Thanksgiving weekend we moved to Irvine! We love our new place, it's very spacious and clean feeling! We had a lot of help from our family with the move. After the move we hung out in the spa at our complex. That night we went to see The Blindside with my family. The night before that we saw New Moon together! So fun! It was awesome having Devon and Whitney in town for the weekend! We missed them and Colton loves them sooo much!

4 Month Stats!

Colton loves his new book! Thanks Stephanie!

Colton had his 4 month check-up on Monday last week. He got his shots and did so well for the first two but on the third he lost it! It was so hard to watch my poor little guy. The doctor said he's looking great and healthy. This is his new book and he loves to play with it because it also makes noise as he touches it. Here are his current stats:
Weight: 16 pounds 3 ounces
72%
Height: 25 inches
48%

Veteran's Day!

Devin didn't have work on Veteran's Day so we headed to LA for the day. We went to the Museum of Tolerance where we learned about the Holocaust and similar events throughout history as well. For those of you that don't already know, I'm half jewish and I love that about my heritage. It was sad to learn more of such a devastating time but a great lesson they taught was to learn from history and to be tolerant of others no matter their race, culture, or religion. After the museum we went by the La Brea tar pits and then got dinner and went to Diddy Riese for dessert. Yum! It was so great spending time together as a family!

First Hair Cut!

Goodbye Mullet and Yamaka

Mommy, what is daddy doing to me?
Devin was tired of people commenting on Colton's hair so he got out the clippers. I wasn't a fan of the idea at first but I'm glad he did it because he did a great job. Colton was so calm through the entire cut.

Colton's First Feast!

He was a little nervous...
I was soooo proud!
He did so well for his first time eating carrot baby food!
Yummy!
Good job Colton! You crack us up!
Colton was so adorable for his first time eating baby food. On Monday November 2nd he turned 4 months old. He hasn't rolled over yet, he gets stuck on his side. He enjoys his playmat and bumbo and loves to grab blankets and toys!

BYU Football's #1 Fan!

Thanks Grandpa Mark for my awesome BYU football jersey! When I'm older you'll have to take me to my first game!

On Halloween night we went up to Devin's parents house so Colton could trick-or-treat with his cousins. He was so adorable in his costume and we had a fun night of eating candy and pumpkin seeds.

Trunk-or-Treat

We went to our ward's trunk-or-treat Halloween party last Friday night. We had a lot of junk food and swore it would end after the Halloween weekend. I love this picture because Colton is waving to the camera. He is too funny!

Visiting Daddy at Work!

Last week we went to visit Devin at work and, in the theme of Halloween, we brought pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and candy. Colton wore his monkey costume and even held on to his pumpkin jack-o-lantern all by himself.

Thanks Uncle Cameron!

Thanks for the cool jersey Uncle Cameron! Me gusta futbol! I can't wait for you to get home from your mission in January so I can finally meet you!

Colton At 3 1/2 Months

Colton is the biggest sweetheart.
He is a blessing in our lives.
His legs are getting so cute and chunky.
He is so talkative and giggly.
He's a little high maintenance with wanting to be held all the time and I have to be standing up and facing him out so he can see everyone else.
Loves to chew and suck on his hand and mine.
Usually sleeps through our daily walks.
Won't take formula.
Loves to be swaddled for bedtime.
Going a little bald in some places. Tear.
Is super smiley, especially right when he wakes up in the morning and sees me.
Loves bath time and loves me to spray water in his mouth.
Watches Baby Einstein in the mornings so I can eat breakfast.

The Getty Villa

We enjoyed a nice long Columbus day weekend. Friday night we went out to dinner with my parents. Saturday we went to see Harry Potter which I've wanted to see ever since it came out. I couldn't go though because Colton was so little. He was very well behaved in the theaters with us. After the movie we hung out with Dawn and Jimmy. On Sunday night Devin went camping with Johnny Rosell and they surfed together Monday morning. When Devin got back Monday morning we went to the Getty Villa in Malibu. It's sad when the current knowledge we had of Greek and Roman times was mostly from movies like "The Gladiator", "Troy", and Disney's "Hercules". We left enlightened. After the Villa we drove around Malibu and checked out the Pepperdine campus. Then we drove to the Santa Monica pier and did some shopping at the Promenade over there and got dinner at Johnny Rockets where Colton was given his first balloon by our server. What a great weekend!

A Good Read.

Trust me.
This book is worth reading.
It's a page turner.
You won't regret it.
There's a second book after this one.
It's called Catching Fire.
I started it yesterday...
so good so far!
