Happy Independence Day!

On the 4th of July we went to my cousin's baby's blessing in the morning and then went to my parents' house for lunch with the Glassman side of the family. Then we went to the Dickson's in the evening to catch the Fullerton fireworks show with them. Colton loved the fireworks and was staring until the very end when they started to lose his attention. It was a great day with family.

Family Birthday Dinner

We went to BJ's for my birthday dinner with the family for some pizza and pizookies. Colton loves pizza crust so he was a happy baby!

Colton's First Birthday!

Colton's 1st Birthday party was a success. We had about 90 people there to help us celebrate our little man's birthday. It was a weinie roast at the pool and it was fun hanging out with everybody. I was mostly worried about getting the food and decorations ready and I think everything came together nicely. I had alot of help setting up from family and that was much appreciated. Colton loves the pool and had fun with his little friends. P.S. Thanks Amy for taking some great pics for us!

Danielle & Greg's Wedding!

Danielle and Greg's were married in the Newport Beach Temple last Friday. Their reception was held at the Turnip Rose and it was alot of fun. We had the traditional "Footloose" dancing where we had two parallel lines with a couple dancing down the middle. It was nice to have both my brothers in town for the wedding.

Angels Game-Girls Night!

Whitney and Devon came to town last weekend...it was about time! So, my mom took Whitney and I to an Angels game Thursday night after we went to dinner together. We got some carmel apples from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for the game. We had great seats and it was fun to hang out with the Glassman girls!

First Lollipop!

When I was putting together Colton's goodie bags for his 1st b'day party, I let him try a dum-dum sucker. It was so cute to watch him eat it, he was soooooo happy! We won't make it a habit though, we don't want him to be a candy-holic like me.

The Big 2-4!

Tuesday June 29th was my 24th birthday! To start the day off, my mom picked me up and took me to breakfast and for a mani/pedi...perfection! (Thanks Tanner for babysitting!) Later that night we went to dinner with a few friends and then to a movie. Devin spoiled me with a kajillion Anthropologie gifts and I had an amazing birthday. I'm so grateful and I feel so loved for all the birthday shout-outs.

Jonna & Brighton Come To Town!

Jonna and little B stayed at our place for a few days. These pics are from when we went to Balboa beach and had a bonfire with Lexi and Jay. Then we went to the Balboa Fun Zone and then went to BJ's for dinner. Jonna got to try her first pizookie! We miss them already!

Play Time

Dane came over and it was so cute to watch them play and giggle together. Colton kept following Dane around and was so entertained the entire time.

Our Little Walker!

To be precise, Colton took his first steps on Friday June 18th. We went to Stonefire Grill with my family that evening and he walked to the fire pit they have outside the restaurant. Devin was with him and when I came outside Colton did it again. Little wobbling steps are so cute! Within the last couple weeks he has become quite the expert walker. He is still a little unstable, but we are past the point of counting steps. The cutest part is how excited he gets if we ask him to walk to us. He moves his arms up and down and giggles and rushes his steps.

Grandma and Grandpa Dickson

A couple weekends ago we went to visit Devin's grandparents in La Jolla. They live right across the street from the beach and across from the main tourist attraction in the city...the sea lions. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed hanging out with them. Colton loves dogs and would not stop crawling after them whenever one was in sight. The baby sea lions were adorable!

Danielle's Bachelorette Party!

Little Danielley is all grown up and getting married! She is so beautiful and I'm so excited for her and Greg! Amy planned a fun night that started with dinner at Chomps Sushi in Downtown Fullerton and then we sang Karaoke at this awesome Korean place in La Habra. They gave us a V.I.P. room and we took advantage of the props they had, especially the wigs! After karaoke, we went back to Amy's and Danielle open up all her lingerie gifts and we had brownie ice cream sundaes. It was quite the party!

Memorial Day

"Look at me, I'm learning how to stand...not quite stable yet..."
"Dad, you're getting in the way of my flag waving fun!"
"Mom, a little space please...trying to eat this yummy watermelon."

We had a great Memorial Day a few weeks ago. We went swimming and had a bbq with the Dicksons. Colton loves to be in the swimming pool and loves to kick! Later that night we had a bonfire in their backyard and had Reeses smores and played Mafia. Lots of laughs, delicous food, great family...couldn't ask for more on a Monday.
