Santa Baby!

Reese Janice Glassman

Born on 12-11-11
Her stats:
7 lbs. 4 oz.
20 in.

Little Reese is by far one of the most cute newborns I have ever seen. Those cheeks are so adorable. I love Devon and Whitney so much and I am beyond excited for them and the birth of their precious girl. Devon is in law school at Ohio State and had to take his last final the day after she was born.
Congrats! See you guys in a couple weeks!

Devin turns 28!

Monday was Devin's 28th Birthday. He took the day off and we started the late morning by going to breakfast with the kids. We came home for some cake-yep, we don't do plates-straight from the cake pan! My mom babysat so we could have a dinner date.

I love Colton's wild chocolate smile in the last pic.

Dressed down

I love the picture with her eyes closed.

Dressed up!

She pooped about 5 minutes later as I loaded her in her carseat. She had poop from head to bow.

It's okay with me...

if you stop growing and stay this little forever! No really...

My Colton Pie!

My little rascal is two and a half next month! I find myself shaking my head and saying "Oh, terrible two's" in public. Colton is high-energy, social, and playful. He is talking and repeating so much more in the last 2 months. He loves to play with cars. His favorite shows are Little Einsteins and Yo Gabba Gabba. He loves to swing at the park. His favorite books are "Where the Wild Things Are", "If you give a mouse a cookie", and "Don't let the Pigeon stay up late!" And his favorite songs are "Popcorn Popping", "3 Little Monkeys", "Book of Mormon Stories" and "Once there was a Snowman". He is a fun kid! (And a lot of work!)

Brekyn at 7 Months

There has been no shortage of drool in this household. In the last 2 weeks Brekyn has hit quite a few milestones. She is sitting up, army crawling, and got her two front bottom teeth. She is an absolute angel baby. I am so in love with her. She makes me melt! I love her double chin, raspy voice, smiles, and soft cheeks. She has the cutest chunky legs and is so ticklish! She is easily startled and we can tell she has a more sensitive & girly personality than Colton as a baby. Her favorite food is organic banana puffs.

Happy Thanksgiving!

When the camera is out, it's hard to get Colton to smile.
This Thanksgiving we started off at my parents' house with the Glassman side of the family and then went to Bucca di Beppo's with the Dickson side later in the evening.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here are a few things I am thankful for:
-First and foremost, my husband and two beautiful children. They are what I live for. I have more love for them than can be measured. They bring more laughter and love than I could have ever imagined.
-I am so grateful to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I cherish the bible and Book of Mormon. I am grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice. I am grateful to live in a time that we have the restored gospel with a Prophet at the head of our church with 12 apostles.
-I am grateful for amazing parents that have been a good example for me. I appreciate my parents now more than ever as I understand how difficult parenting can be and see how much work it is.
-My brothers and extended family.
-Devin having a job.

Little friends!

It only took Colton about 6 months to warm up to Brekyn...and now he LOVES to play with her. I think her sitting up and army crawling has helped him see her as more of a playmate rather than just a baby. He loves the attention she gives him. He loves to make her laugh. I don't think there is anything more cute than watching your children giggle at each other. It's so nice when they entertain each other. I am so in love with my cute kiddos!

Smile!

Love. Love. Love. This. Girl.

Happy Halloween!

Colton insisted on me blowing bubble after bubble!

Using his sword to knock on the door.
We ended the night trick-or-treating a few more houses with the Dicksons'. Luckily they only live 5 minutes from my parents' house.

Trick-or-Treat!

After every house he would want to eat the candy they gave him right away.

My cute little kitty!
We started the evening off with my mom. (My dad is out of town) She cooked us a delicious dinner and made candy apples for dessert. Then we went trick-or-treating around her block. We were skeptical at how Colton would react to going door to door but he quickly caught on. He said "chrick-er-cheet" and was ecstatic when they handed him candy.
A couple cute things he learned to do:
He kept pointing to the moon and howling like a wolf throughout the night.
When we ask how old he is, he says "tchew" and holds up a different amount of fingers each time.
